About Ivan Lake:
Born in Mallorca in 1999, DJ, Producer, audio engineer and label owner Ivan Lake started making music at the young age of 12, at first, making beats and remakes of released songs, bootlegs and mashups to use in his DJ sets. in 2014, being 15 years old, Lake signs his first EP with a Spanish record label under a different artist name. One year later Ivan decided to start his own project and build his very own imprint, Lowdown Recordings, with the purpose to sign other producers' music and to be able to put out his own records. Tough times in the beginning, no funding and no experience, it wasn't until 2017 that Lowdown Recordings was officially born.
Influenced by classic Trance, the Progressive House and Electro House scene with artists like Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, Eric Prydz, Zedd, Deadmau5 and many others, Ivan Lake builds his own sound and his own watermark that you can identify in every record that he releases.
In 2018 Lake decided to make his biggest musical project so far, an album that compiles all that he is capable of. One year later, in January 2019, "Rituals" was released. An album full of 19 different songs, with collaborations with Frimax, førget, Lily Lanini and others. The album "Rituals" reached several Top 100 on Beatport: Top 100 Dance / Electro Pop, Top 100 Electro House, Top 100 Trap / Future Bass, Top 100 Big Room, Top 100 Indie Dance, Top 100 Future House, Top 100 Trap / Hip-Hop / R&B.
After this milestone, Ivan Lake focused on making more high-energy House tracks, in March 2019 in the Palma Music Studios complex, Lake started working on his EP "SHADOWS" which includes four tracks: "ECSTASY", "FCK WITH YOU", "KALEIDOSCOPE" and "SO FAR AWAY". "SHADOWS" peaked 19th on the Top 100 Electro House on Beatport. This EP was a statement of intent by the Spaniard, from this point, Lake was going to keep putting out Electro House bangers.
At the end of 2019, Ivan Lake signs with Plasmapool Media where he released several tracks that summed thousands of streams on Spotify.
