Label Release Request

Catalog numbers should be unique for each release within a particular label – made up of a prefix of the label name, followed by a sequence of numbers e.g. LOW001

All titles must meet Apple Music Style Guidelines. Failure to meet guidelines may result in your release being delayed.


If it's an EP, select the name of the main / A-Side track

Please include main artists, separated by commas. (i.e. Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa)


Full artist name – as it will be delivered to DSPs. Include CAPS or special characters.


If it's an EP or Album, include all main artists involved.

Artwork should be 3000px x 3000px in size & the format should be .JPG - smaller image sizes may be resized before sending to retailers causing quality issues, larger images may fail to upload. Artwork must meet Apple Music Style Guidelines.

Release Type

Single

Releases with 1 to 3 tracks where all tracks are under 10 minutes in length should be classified as Singles.


EP

A release is only an EP if it has:

– One to three tracks with one track at lease 10 minutes long

– Four to six tracks with a total running time of 30 minutes or less


Album

Every release containing more than 6 tracks and/or exceeding a total runtime of over 30 minutes is an album.

Count each original song only once. Do not count extended mixes or radio edits. Do count "remixes" as separate songs. Do count "dub", "edit" or "cut" as separate songs.

Primary Genre

Select the main genre of the release. If the release includes tracks from different genres, choose the genre that best represents the release as a whole.

Real Name of the writer. If multiple writers, please include all writers separated by commas.


If it's an EP or Album, include all writers.

Real Name of the producer. If multiple producers, please include all writers separated by commas.


If it's an EP or Album, include all producers.

The release must be scheduled with a minimum lead time of 30 days from the date it is delivered to the digital platforms to the official release date.


In practice, you must select a release date that allows for an additional 1-2 weeks prior to delivery, to account for internal processing, contract signing, and submission to the platforms.


Therefore, we recommend planning releases at least 6 weeks in advance.

Please write a proper description / blurb for DSPs such as Beatport, and for marketing purposes as pitching, DJ Promos, etc.
